POETRY

We are currently only accepting completed poetry collections that are between 45-60 pages in length.

We're actively looking for the following themes:

  • Death and mortality

  • Desire and dreams

  • Beauty and/or the pursuit of it

  • Travel/journeys

  • And other strong abstract concepts that can be explored from various angles

We encourage you to have a look at our previous titles to get a feel for what we’ve already done, and what we might be looking for going forward.

NOVELLAS & short story collections

We publish mainly adult genre fiction that falls under the umbrella of coming of age and low fantasy/soft scifi (specifically; steampunk, urban, surrealist). If you're looking to publish longer volumes, space operas, court intrigue etc, we may not be the best fit.

We are currently only accepting full manuscripts for short story collections and novellas under 40,000 words.

We'd love to see more:

  • Cozy fiction (particularly cozy mysteries)

  • Upmarket/commercial

  • Speculative fiction

  • East Asian literature

  • Romcom/romance

  • YA/NA works

We are NOT seeking early readers, screenplays, crime, memoir, history, non-fiction, family saga, true crime, religious, military, sports (unless it’s a sports romance.)

We're not a press that centres its works on Singapore, so we may not be the best place for SingLit.

We are also not the place for political manifestos, overly literary or experimental works.

 

Please abide by the following submission requirements:

  • For novellas and short story collections, we only accept submissions under 40,000 words.

  • For poetry collections, we only accept submissions under 60 pages.

  • Include a 50-100 word pitch and a one-paragraph author bio with your submission.

  • You may make multiple submissions.

  • Do let us know if you have submitted your work elsewhere. We accept simultaneous submissions, but if you’ve been accepted elsewhere, please notify us ASAP to withdraw your submission.

  • We do not accept submissions that have been published as a whole/in part elsewhere.

  • We have a strict anti-AI policy, and may request to see prior drafts in-person, or a document with an intact version history.

When do i submit?

All submissions will be considered for publication between 2028-2029.

The submission window will close on December 31, 2026.

  • Attach two files:

    • Your manuscript, as a PDF, formatted in sans serif font size 12, and 1.5-line spaced

    • Your author bio/50 word pitch.
